Issues Resolved
This Update is a repackaging of the Revit 2023.1.1 Update with the Identity Manager component removed to avoid an Error 101 during installation of the update. All other components provided in this update match the versions provided with Revit 2023.1.1 Update. If you have already installed Revit 2023.1.1 Update, this update will be blocked from installing since due your Revit 2023 installation is already up to date with the latest fixes and enhancements.
Important Notes
Installation
In some scenarios you may be prompted for the RVT.msi, this occurs when the Update detects an unexpected version of an existing file and needs to determine the next course of action. Please provide the location to the RVT.msi used during initial installation of Revit 2023 to continue installing the update.
Revit 2023.1 Update does not support uninstall, once Revit 2023.1 Update is applied Revit 2023 can not be reverted to its pre-update state.
"Revit is already installed" message may occur after uninstalling Revit 2023 and attempting to reinstall Revit 2023. This issue can be resolved by deleting the following registry keys HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\0A4B643700320150000007C5D0680240, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\0A4B643700320150000007C5D0680240 and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall{7346B4A0-2300-0510-0000-705C0D862004}
After installation of Revit 2023.1 Update, Custom Dynamo Nodes for Steel Connections will remain located in %ProgramData%\Autodesk\RVT 2023\Dynamo\2.13\packages instead of being moved to %ProgramData%\Autodesk\RVT 2023\Dynamo\2.16\packages. You may need to copy the files into the %ProgramData%\Autodesk\RVT 2023\Dynamo\2.16\packages folder to utilize the Custom Dynamo Nodes for Steel Connections.
